      I was curious about who the end buyers are in Kolhapur. Seems like Kolhapur property prices are getting close to Puna, however, the salary's are much much less. Does it mean that the properties are just changing hands from one investor to another?

      Well,Kolhapur is turning out to be a good investment destination due to its location on the golden quadrilateral(NH4)and 3.30 hrs drive from pune,secondly the growing heavy industries due to the upcoming ratnagiri export port,the growing textile parks in ichalkaranji & kagal and also the declaration of IT park are inviting investors.
      Kolhapurkars are also shifting from their existing homes to fully equipped townships with good amenities.

      Hey Amol,

      Would a flat with a view (let’s say Rankala lake) mean better price or higher appreciation compared to non-view property in same area?

      It does work that way in US, however, not sure if buyers in Kolhapur pay premium for the view etc..

      Most people do prefer a better view but the developers aren't charging more for the same, its just first come first serve basis out here. Few people here are still interested for a better "VASTUSHASTRA" than a better view. View and floor rise are charged in pune ,it will soon get an appreciation in Kolhapur.

    Well,Kandalgaon is blessed with two huge campuses and both are adding more colleges in them. So it will definitely be beneficial if you keep it as it is.If you want to sell it out then try quickr,99 acres etc agents will approach you or give a ppr add.

    I own a office space on ground floor in Kolhapur at a prime location between CBS & Railway Station admeasuring about approximately 200+ Sq. Ft. Area.
