- Low energy device like V3F Lifts, soft start motors for lower energy loads.
- Energy efficient CFL lighting systems reduce loads.
- Use of renewable energy sources such as solar and wind.
- Common lights powered by Solar Energy, roof thermal resistance chemicals, solar water heating systems.
- Intelligent plumbing and rain water harvesting which allows water re-use in community irrigation.
- Water and sewage treatment plant for effective water recycling .
- Preservation of local ecology by encouraging natural flora and fauna.
- The sun and wind patterns must be studied and used while designing to reduce the use of fans, lights and AC's.
- Biogas generation plant for recycling common waste.
- Reduce-Reuse-Recycle-Renew.
